Cheating slightly here by sketching body as well e.g. taking the pressure off getting the face right.
Still looks pretty rubbish, but at least the eyes, nose, mouth, ears and so on look sort of in the right place.
Cant help but feel it looks more like a man than the woman i was trying to copy from a book.
Thinking i need to find an expert to ask!
Starting to feel that this might be a long process. Also, decided that pen is not the way forward, will be back to pencils tomorrow.

Actually quite pleased with this! The face on the bottom right is probably the fist recognisable face that i’ve ever done!
